Industrial sewage is used water from chemical processes that contain chemical compounds such as lead, petroleum. It contaminates the water through oil spills and forms a thick sludge in the water which will affect the quality of the water (SAVING EARTH ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITANNICA, 2021)
Storm Sewage
Sewage and Wastewater
Storm sewage carries organic materials, suspended and dissolved solids. High levels of suspended solids will increase water temperature and decrease dissolved oxygen level which also known as DO levels. This is because suspended particles absorb more heat than water molecules (Encyclopedia Britannica, 2021)
