Marine Dumping

Marine dumping is defined as the deliberate disposal of wastes at sea from vessels or man-made structures. It tends to have toxic substances such as dredged materials and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons that occur naturally in crude oil which will pollute the marine(Hinton,2011). Here comes to the effects of marine dumping. Oxygen in the water will be depleted and will bring poor health to marine life. Furthermore, marine dumping can destroy or degrade habitats for aquatic species and cause coastal erosion and salutation which will affect the health of the marine environment.
